Flares Inc is a technology company founded in 2023. We build the systems organizations run on — the infrastructure underneath the work rather than the part anybody shows off.
What we do now
Flares is one connected platform: accounts an organization owns, files it controls, documents its people write together, a calendar they share, and — for schools — teaching, administration, family access and fees on the same foundation.
That is where the infrastructure work went. The company started by building the plumbing other software depends on; the platform is what happens when the same approach is pointed at an entire organization.
How we build
The organization owns its accounts
A workspace account belongs to the organization that created it, not to whoever set it up. People move on; the organization keeps its data and its access.
Access follows relationships
What somebody can see comes from their role and their connections — a parent sees their own children, a teacher sees their own classes. Not a checkbox somebody forgot to untick.
Integrated, not merely bundled
One account and one set of files across every product. The value is in the joins, which is also the hardest part to retrofit later.
Where we are
Flares is built in Nigeria. Our first customers are here, the problems we understand best are here, and the platform is designed for how organizations here actually work — including how schools take fees.
None of that makes it a Nigeria-only product. Nothing in Flares assumes a country.
